The ANCER Lab Series is a platform for critical conversations to take place on the development and management of arts and culture in Southeast Asia. Every year the ANCER Lab will take place in a different city. Launched in 2019, January saw us in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and in October 2019 we will head to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Each ANCER Lab comprises a series of exchanges between local scholars and artists of a city/country, with scholars and artists from other parts of the region. It may include visits to key sites and projects, public fora or closed roundtables, and fosters the development of wider and deeper participation in a sustained and analytical reflection of arts and cultural work.
The programme is initiated and devised by LASALLE College of the Arts, in partnership with a local counterpart. For more details, email sunitha.janamohanan@lasalle.edu.sg. You may also follow us on Facebook at ANCERLabSeries
