MANILA
6-7 October 2021
Due to continued travel suspensions and uncertainties caused by the on-going Covid-19 global pandemic, ANCER Lab 03 took place entirely online as a combination of zoom meetings and public webinar, jointly organised by LASALLE College of the Arts Singapore and the Arts and Culture Cluster, De La Salle- College of Saint Benilde Manila.
Synopsis:
Deep into 2021, we unfortunately see no end in sight yet to the global pandemic and the Philippines remains in one of the longest running, strictest quarantines in the world. Covid fatigue affects us all, not just in the day-to-day dealing with it, but also in talking about its disruptions to work and to the arts specifically. We use ANCER Lab 03 to respond to questions that continue to demand our attention – questions of sustainability and survival, support structures and innovative practice, as well as deeper questions related to class privilege and access.
